What is mat Pilates?

Mat Pilates aim is to strengthen the body with particular interest on the core. Pilates aims to improve general fitness and wellbeing.

Pilates was developed by Joseph Pilate, who believed the body was a whole.

Is Pilates for you?

Pilates can be for all ages, level and ability. Whilst teaching the class there is beginner, intermediate and advance exercises shown, this means you are in control of how challenging you want it to be. Please call today if you want to discuss the classes and whether they are right for you.

What does the research say?

A study was evaluate the effects of Pilates on patients with chronic low back pain, the study found that there was “significant improvement in pain relief and function enhancement. note: other exercises showed similar effects to those of Pilates”(Lin, H.T. et al 2016).

Types of Classes:

*ONLINE* Group Training: Using an online platform you can join in with a interactive group class, in the comfort of your own home.

Classes run on a Tuesday 11am and Thursday 10am
